To everyone who has previously attended Tenaraido’s “EWA Kintsugi Class”

We are pleased to announce the launch of our intermediate-level course, “Kintsugi Dojo”!

※It is also open to those who have attended non-simplified (traditional) kintsugi classes outside of Tenaraido.

Many participants have expressed a desire to continue practicing kintsugi after completing the class. However, when working alone, it can often be difficult to know how to proceed.

The “Kintsugi Dojo” offers an opportunity for such individuals to continue attending regularly and engage more deeply with the practice over time.

In this class, you will be able to take on slightly larger pieces and more complex repairs that were not covered in the beginner course.

The class will be led by Mana, a familiar instructor from Tenaraido’s kintsugi program.

What is  “Dojo”?

The word “Dojo” traditionally refers to a place where both skill and discipline are cultivated—such as in martial arts like judo and kendo, or in practices like Go and shogi.

When we imagine everyone bringing in their broken pieces and working on them with dedication, almost as if in training, it truly feels like a dojo.

While the atmosphere is focused, the class is conducted in a friendly and relaxed manner—so please feel at ease!

If you would like to continue practicing kintsugi at your own pace and engage with it more deeply, we warmly invite you to apply.

We look forward to welcoming you.
